Fire and rescue centre and SDIS departmental headquarters

OfficesNew buildConstruction economics

The new fire station is being built along avenue François Château, east of Rennes, on the site that currently houses the SDIS departmental HQ. It will host the Rennes-Centre fire and rescue centre (currently based at the Saint-Georges station) and the SDIS departmental HQ.

The new complex appears as a compact volume, partly clad in timber. The combination of timber, anti-graffiti tinted concrete, large glazing, white cladding panels and a green roof allows it to meet the energy performance standards.
