Vico
Medicalised accommodation centre (FAM)
On a two-hectare site in the heart of the village, the Vico Medicalised Accommodation Centre (FAM) project offers the prospect of a modern, inclusive and adapted living environment, supporting the wellbeing of residents and their integration into local life.
The facility provides 42 PRM individual bedrooms with terraces, as well as numerous shared spaces: dining hall, large day room, arts and sports activity spaces, therapeutic kitchen, snoezelen room and performance hall. The outdoor fittings, terraces, amphitheatre, sports pitches and vegetable garden, extend the living spaces into the open air.
The architecture is intended to be soothing and reassuring: simple volumes, rounded shapes, enhanced acoustics, adjustable lighting. The project is also part of an ambitious environmental approach, incorporating eco-construction, thermal and acoustic comfort, careful management of resources and the pooling of services with the neighbouring care home (EHPAD).
