SHOM Building H – Bergot site

The French Naval Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service (SHOM) has its headquarters in Brest, on the Bergot site. Its premises are no longer suited to changes, particularly in digital practice. They are also outdated and considered ‘poorly adapted to collaborative work involving teams that can be reconfigured’.

To meet SHOM’s new ambitions, the building takes the form of a raised two-storey ring with a shared central core, ‘fostering collaboration between departments’. This new facility has a capacity of 208 people.
