The independent-living residence project for elderly people is set below the village centre on a plot with a strong slope. It is split between an existing building, the Merle House, and a new building lower down, overlooking a listed wooded area. Following a phase of demolition of existing buildings, twenty-eight 2-room units are created in the new building. The existing Merle House, fully renovated, hosts shared rooms, rich in restored wood panelling and paintwork, as well as a doctor’s office and the caretaker’s dwelling.
