Tour des Poissonniers

Housing & hospitalityRefurbishmentConstruction economics

The Tour des Poissonniers, an emblematic legacy of vertical planning, is the subject of an extensive transformation programme.

Built in 1959, this former social housing tower will accommodate a student residence with varied unit types to allow for flat shares and to facilitate long-term changes of use, as well as a 30-studio rehearsal residence for performing arts for Sorbonne University, located in its renewed garden.

Preserved in its entirety, the new Tour des Poissonniers will evolve in line with the energy commitments set out in the sustainable development charter established by Paris Habitat, with multiple certification objectives.
