Bayssan performance hall and amphitheatre

The Bayssan estate offers a vast and generous cultural stage through this project for a modular performance hall of 450 seats (800 seated/standing and 1,500 standing), a 150-seat cabaret restaurant and a 1,000-seat open-air amphitheatre.

In memory of the three canvas tents of the Sortie Ouest Theatre, the project is split into three architectural bodies borrowing the shapes of the first permanent circuses. These three ‘tents’ are organised around a large forecourt offering freedom of use according to the programming.
