Cognac
Cultural hub
Located on the Litho-Bru brownfield site, the project consists in bringing together the city’s media library and conservatory of music and dramatic art in large volumes under a single roof. Preserved on the street side, the classical façade of a former printing works is showcased, supported by a monumental device whose framework echoes the aesthetics of Cognac cellars. The use of timber, stone and vegetation for these large volumes also responds to the territory in which this new hub is set.
