Health Technical Hub – UPJV Thil Campus

The technical hub of the Health Cluster is located on the Thil university campus in Amiens and consists in creating a ‘technical platform’ to provide practical-work rooms for the Health sector and to host two research units.

The shape of the building results from the requirements of organisation, orientation and protection of the interior spaces, and from the preservation and enhancement of the existing wooded area. The building, organised over four levels including a ground floor sitting on a partial technical gallery, is articulated around two programmatic wings: the teaching wing to the south of the plot, and the research wing to the north.

From the public space of the university campus, the new Health Technical Hub asserts itself, through its widely-glazed main façades, as an open and welcoming building.
